Bio

I have been researching my family history for the last several years.  I have ancestors that hailed from France, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, Italy, Ireland, Slovakia, and Spain.  My research focus in the United States, includes the states of Louisiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.  I completed my basic Italian and Eastern European Genealogy Certificates through the National Institute of Genealogical Studies in 2020.  I attended the Advanced Italian Genealogy course at the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh in 2019.  I completed the Research Like a Pro DNA Study Group in November 2020.  I am the speaker coordinator for the Pima County Genealogy Society and a Member of its steering and programming committees.  I started this blog not only to share my discoveries with family and friends, but to inspire others to begin their search.
